| The FASTmag can be mounted on a PALS/MOLLE style matrix. Pictured is a back pack (MOLLE2Large), but it works the same way on a vest, plate carrier, LBV, or PALS compatible belt. |

The easiest way to install the FASTmag is to thread the straps in part way before installing the 'ears'. |
| Next, tuck the 'ears' up under the next row of webbing. They are slightly angled from the FASTmag so that the magazine will tilt somewhat away from the body for better access. |
Lastly, pull the straps over the locking tabs to secure. |
| The easiest way to detach the straps is to pry them up from the middle. In this picture you can see the raised plastic guards that keep the straps from being accidently pried off. There is a gap in this raised area on the interior surface for ease of use. |

For use with a belt, we recommend using the 'earless version'. To install, open the straps up and place the belt against the back of the FASTmag, outside surface up. Then, slide the belt adaptor until the shelf rests against the bottom of the belt. |
| Securely attach both straps, being careful to keep the belt and belt adaptor held snugly together. |
The FASTmag should now be very tightly attached to the belt. If this is not the case, adjust the belt and adaptor. This may require unlocking one or both of the straps. |
| Optional Jump Strap: A shock cord strap with lanyard or knot can be stowed behind the FASTmag when not in use. For times when the user wants to completely secure the magazine, the strap can be pulled down over the end. As pictured, we used a 14" piece of shock cord routed through the back of the FASTmag. The knot was adjusted to the desired amount of tension and then the ends were trimmed and cauterized.
